Air Bag Resistor: Service and Repair

The resistor module is part of the SIR wiring harness and is taped to the I/P wiring harness. The resistor module is located level with and to the right of the radio.
1. Disarm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Disarming.''
2. Remove radio.
3. Carefully cut tape attaching resistor module to the I/P wiring harness.
4. Release connector position assurance (CPA) and disconnect resistor module.
5. Remove resistor module from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Rearm airbag system as described under ``Airbag System Arming.''
