Diagnostic information for correcting a metric only display on page 8A-82-24, Instrument Cluster: Digital Cluster, U2A, has been revised to include additional information necessary to correct full time metric display on domestic U.S. vehicles.

This information is applicable to 1990 Eighty-Eight and Ninety-Eight, 1991 Ninety-Eight, and 1992 Eighty-Eight.

In order to correct a metric only display on U.S. vehicles, not only does the Blk (154) wire from terminal C6 of the HVAC Programmer need to be cut, as indicated in Procedure O: E/M Switch Output Test on 8A-82-24, but the Blk/Wht (803) wire from connector C1, Terminal A3 of the Instrument Cluster also needs to be cut for proper U.S. operation.
