Oil Change Reminder Lamp: Service and Repair

When the engine oil life index has reached 10 or less, the Driver Information System display will indicate distance to oil change and sound a beep, when ignition switch is placed in the Run or Accessory position for the first time each day.

When the engine oil life index has reached 0, the Driver Information System display will indicate Change Oil Now and sound a beep, when ignition switch is placed in the Run or Accessory position for the first time each day.

Rest Procedure

After engine oil change has been performed, the oil life index may be reset by:

1. Depress the TEST button and release.
2. Depress the OIL button and release
3. Depress and hold the Reset button for approximately 7 seconds.
