Fig. 20 Thermostat Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system until level is below thermostat.
3. Remove air cleaner assembly.
4. Remove thermostat housing and thermostat, Fig. 20.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Apply sealer to bolt threads prior to installation.
