This bulletin serves to update Sections C13, Crankcase Ventilation, found in 6E3 "Driveability and Emissions and 8A "Electrical Diagnosis" in the 1992 Achieva Service Manual for vehicles with the 2.3L (VIN D, A and 3) engine.

Included in this update are procedures necessary to diagnose the Crankcase Ventilation Heater Assembly Circuit found on these applications.

In Section 8A the component "Engine Block Heater" or "Engine Vent Heater" was mislabeled. It should have been labeled "Crankcase Vent Heater". Make this change to the following pages of your 1992 Achieva Service Manual:
