Service Procedure

1. Open hood and locate the fittings where the Front Fuel Feed Hose (from engine), and the Front Fuel Return Hose join the Fuel Pipes at the body rail gower left hand engine compartment).

2. Torque both the Fuel Feed and the Fuel Return fittings to 27 N-m (20 Lbs.ft.) using a torque wrench (16 mm) and a backup wrench (19 mm).





For Quad 4 engines (VIN Codes "A" or "D"), see Figure (1); the fittings to be torqued are labelled "5" and "6" in the figure.





For 2.5L engines (VIN Code "U"), see Figure (2); the fittings to be torqued are labelled "3" and "5" in the figure.





For 3.3L V6 engines (VIN Code "N"), see Figure (3); the fittings to be torqued are labelled "7" and "8" in the figure.


3. Install Campaign Label with number "90-C-02" and dealer code inserted.

4. Start engine and examine for leaks.

5. Close hood.
