Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

Fuel Rail And Injectors:

REMOVAL:

1. Relieve the fuel system pressure, see MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF.
2. Remove the pressure regulator from the fuel rail. Place a shop cloth around the base of the regulator to catch any spilled fuel.

INSTALLATION:

1. Using new seals, install the fuel pressure connection and torque to 10 Nm (88 lb.in).
2. Check for fuel leaks.
