THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND REPLACES DEALER TECHNICAL BULLETIN 89-T-146 (CORPORATE REFERENCE NUMBER 935007) TO INCORPORATE THE ADJUSTMENT CHECK WITH THIS NEW SERVICE PROCEDURE.


A new stoplamp switch has been released for the 1990 model year, which services all previous model years. The new switch part number is 10180504 which is currently available from GMSPO.

Refer to "Stoplamp Switch Adjustment Check Procedure" on page 4 of this bulletin to determine if the switch operates properly.

The stoplamp switch service procedures have been revised. The following procedures should be used when removing, installing or adjusting the stoplamp switch.
