Water Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Air cleaner assembly
2. Negative battery cable
3. Engine coolant, partially
4. Serpentine belt.
5. Pulley
6. Water pump attaching bolts
7. Water pump

CLEAN
^ Water pump mating surfaces

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Gasket and water pump
2. Attaching bolts
Tighten
^ Bolts 10 Nm (89 in. lb.)
3. Pulley
4. Serpentine belt
5. Engine coolant as needed.

Note^ Adding coolant requires the use of the air bleed vents.

6. Negative battery cable
7. Air cleaner assembly
