This bulletin is to update the Circuit Description of the V08 heavy duty fan option (Fan # 2) in Section "6E3- C12", "Driveability And Emissions" of the 1989 Service Manual for Cutlass Ciera models equipped with a 3300 (VIN N) engine. This bulletin also applies to Section 8A, "Cell" 31.
Fan # 2 (heavy duty) is controlled by coolant temperature only. It is calibrated to turn "ON" when the coolant temperature reaches approximately 106~ C (223~ F) and "OFF" at approximately 102~ C (216~F).
