Housing Assembly HVAC: Service and Repair

HVAC Module:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Discharge A/C system.
3. Hood.
4. R.H. windshield wiper arm.
5. Rear hood seal, air inlet screen and then module top cover/blower motor as an assembly.
6. Evaporator core.
7. Heater core.
8. I.P.. compartment.
9. Temp cable at module.
10. A/C duct work and heater distributor outlet.
11. A/C control (leaving harness, cables, etc. attached to module).
12. Compressor and electrical connections at compressor and set aside.
13. Vacuum reserve tank.
14. Accumulator bracket.
15. Module to cowl screws.
16. Module.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Transfer necessary parts.
2. Apply new strip caulk sealing material.
3. Module.
4. Accumulator bracket.
5. Vacuum reserve tank.
6. Compressor and pressure cutout switch wiring.
7. A/C control (leaving harness, cables, etc., attached to module).
8. A/C duct work and heater distributor outlet.
9. Temp cable at module.
10. I.P.. compartment.
11. Heater core.
12. Evaporator core.
13. Module top cover/blower motor as assembly, air inlet screen and rear hood seal.
14. Right windshield wiper arm.
15. Rear hood seal.
16. Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
17. Negative battery cable.
