If a comment on firm or hard front seat cushion is received, the following procedure can be used to soften either driver or passenger side front seats:

^ See Figures 1 and 2.
^ To determine if a correction has already been performed, reach under seat to check if center element (spring) is present. If so, continue to next step.

^ Remove front seat.

^ Loosen seat bottom trim. It is not necessary to remove adjusters.

^ Remove two (2) hog rings from rear of seat trim to gain access to rear of element.

^ Remove front and rear clips from center element.

^ Open attaching tabs on seat frame at ends of element.

^ Remove element only from side where condition exists.

^ Reinstall seat trim.

^ Reinstall seat.
