Models W/Lock Tab Adjusting Cable

Prior to performing the following procedure, refer to "Delayed, Harsh Upshifts, Lack Of Detent Downshift" and "Delayed And/Or Harsh Upshifts" in the "Service Bulletins" section.

Fig. 1, TV cable adjuster. Models w/lock tab adjusting cable:

1. Depress and hold re-adjust tab, Fig. 1.
2. Move slider back through fitting in direction away from throttle idler lever until slider stops against fitting, then release re-adjust tab.
3. Press accelerator pedal to full travel, then release accelerator pedal.
