Compressor Operates Continuously W/Ignition on

1984-85 Cutlass Ciera & 1985 98
1. Disconnect height sensor electrical connector. If compressor continues to run, proceed to step 2. If compressor stops, replace height sensor.
2. Check for a short to ground in yellow wire between ELC relay and height sensor and repair as necessary. If wire is satisfactory, replace ELC relay.
