MODELS/YEARS 1982 TO 1986 2.0L (VIN CODE P), 1.8L (VIN
CODE 0), AND 2.5L (VIN CODE R&U) SECTION: 6C
Remanufactured Fuel Injectors for General Motors vehicles equipped with Throttle Body Injection (TBI) will be available from WDDGM on March 1, 1986. The remanufactured injectors will cover all GM vehicles with single point and dual point TBI for model years 1980-1986. Refer to Application Chart..

Orders placed after March 1, 1986 should be for the remanufactured injectors, however, new injectors in dealership inventory may be used until depleted.

To assure that the core injectors are returned in good condition, a two-tube package is used. Refer to Figure 1. The inner tube contains the injector and all of the additional parts and instructions necessary to install the remanufactured injector. The outside tube must be used to return the old injector to obtain core credit.
