1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove radiator hose clamp bolt.
2. Disconnect and cap hydraulic lines at power steering pump.
3. Remove power steering pump to rear bracket attaching nut.
4. Remove front pump bracket to engine and front pump bracket to rear pump bracket attaching bolts, Fig. 14.
5. Remove pump and bracket assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector at blower motor, then remove blower motor from vehicle.
3. Disconnect heater hose from water pump and hydraulic lines from power steering pump. Cap lines to avoid fluid leakage.
4. Remove rear pump bracket to engine bracket attaching nut and front pump bracket to cylinder head attaching bolts, Fig. 15.
5. Remove pump and bracket assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove air cleaner.
2. Remove alternator drive belt and alternator, then raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove rear adjustment bracket to pump retaining nut, Fig. 16.
4. Remove alternator adjustment bracket and power steering pump drive belt.
5. Remove double nut and two studs, then the alternator mounting bracket.
6. Remove rear pump adjustment bracket, then disconnect hydraulic lines from power steering pump. Cap lines to prevent spillage of fluid.
7. Remove pump and bracket assembly from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Remove drive belt, then drain power steering fluid from power steering pump reservoir.
2. Raise and support vehicle and disconnect pressure and return lines from power steering pump.
3. Working through access holes in pump pulley, remove three bolts from front of pump.
4. Remove two nuts holding lower brace to engine and remove bracket.
5. Remove pump and pulley assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install, Fig. 17.
