Fig 2 Apply Sealant To Water Pump:

1. With the sealing surfaces cleaned, place a 2mm (3/32") bead of sealant #1052357 or equivalent on the water pump sealing surface, Refer to Fig. 2.

2. Clean old sealant from pump.

3. Coat bolt threads with pipe sealant #1052080 or equivalent. Install pump and torque bolts to specifications.

4. Connect battery negative cable.
