Both Doors Mirror Defogger Do not Operate But Rear Window Defogger Operates

BOTH DOORS MIRROR DEFOGGER DON'T OPERATE BUT REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER OPERATES

Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, [1][2]Electrical Diagrams.

1. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER FUSE

Check if the following fuse in fuse block (J/B) is blown.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2
NO- Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

2. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect the following harness connectors.
-Fuse block (J/B) connector M5
-Door mirror LH D4
-Door mirror RH D107
3.Check continuity between fuse block (J/B) harness connector M5 and door mirror defogger harness connectors D4,D107.





4.Check continuity between fuse block (J/B) harness connector M5 terminal 10M and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Repair or replace harness.

3. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER

Check door mirror LH.
Driver Side Door Mirror Defogger.
Check door mirror RH.
Passenger Side Door Mirror Defogger.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Intermittent Incident.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
