Wire Harness and Connector Repair

SRS wiring is covered by a yellow protective coating. This wiring should not be spliced, soldered or repaired. If wiring or connectors are found to be damaged or worn, the harness should be replaced. When replacing the SRS wiring harness, ensure it is properly routed and all electrical connectors are securely installed.

CAUTION:
- DO NOT USE A CIRCUIT TESTER TO CHECK SRS "AIR BAG" HARNESS CONNECTORS. THE WIRING HARNESS AND CONNECTORS HAVE YELLOW OUTER INSULATION FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION.

- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR, SPLICE, OR MODIFY THE SRS "AIR BAG" WIRING HARNESS. IF THE HARNESS IS DAMAGED, REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE.

- KEEP GROUND PORTION CLEAN.
