Idle Up Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

Fast Idle Control Device Checking:

1. Apply battery voltage to the terminals as shown. A clicking sound should be heard as power is applied. If not proceed to step #2.

2. Remove the solenoid and check for sticking plunger or broken spring. Replace the solenoid if it fails test.
