Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters
MEASUREMENT VOLTAGE OR RESISTANCE OF E.C.U.1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove assist side or bench seat from vehicle.
3. Disconnect 20- and 16-pin connector from E.C.U.
4. Remove pin terminal retainer from 20- and 16-pin connector to make it easier to insert tester probes.
5. Connect 20- and 16-pin connector to E.C.U. carefully.
6. Connect battery ground cable.
7. Measure the voltage at each terminal by following "E.C.U. Inspection Table" below.
CAUTION:
a. Perform all voltage measurements with the connectors connected.
b. Perform all resistance measurements with the connectors disconnected.
c. Make sure that there are not any bends or breaks in E.C.U pin terminal before measurements.
d. Do not touch tester probes between terminals (27) and (28), (35) and (36).
