This bulletin highlights modifications made to the Pulsar NX retractable headlamp system since the start of production. Refer to this bulletin when servicing the headlamp motor connectors and linkages.

Original - 6 pin standard connector August 1982

1) 5+1 pin standard connector August 1982 and eccentric cam motor linkage

2) 5+1 pin standard connector March 1983 and ball joint motor linkage

3) 5+1 pin waterproof connector May 1983 and ball joint motor linkage

4) 3+2 pin waterproof connector September 1983 and ball joint motor linkage. Modified combination switch and electrical circuits
