21. Cut the vacuum sensor hose and reinstall it and the new surge tank valve as shown below (Figure 11).

NOTE: The 3/4-inch length of hose is discarded to keep the hose the proper length.

22. Remove the current E.G.R. tube and install the new E.G.R. tube. Use a 22mm crowfoot and 12-inch extension to loosen the nut at the exhaust manifold (Figure 12).
