1. Park vehicle indoors in a well ventilated area or in the shade.
2. Close all doors and open a window and the hood.
3. Place the temperature lever in the Max. cold position, the mode switch or air control lever in the face position and the intake lever or recirculation switch in the recirc. position.
4. Place fan lever in No. 4 position or on Max. Hi.
5. Run engine at 1500 RPM and wait for A/C to start operating, then at least an additional 10 minutes before starting testing.
6. Compare test results to specification charts, Figs. 36 and 37.
