Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove switch.
2. Dip temperature sensor of switch in cold water.
3. Slowly increase water temperature. Switch should be off below 51 degrees F and should come on at approximately 72 degrees F.
