Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

REDUCE PRESSURIZED FUEL LINES

WARNING: When removing the fuel pipe, etc., release fuel pressure to prevent fuel spray.

1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.







2. Remove the hole cover.







3. Disconnect the fuel pump module connector.
4. After starting the engine and letting it run until it stops naturally, turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
5. Connect the fuel pump module connector.







6. Install the hole cover.

Tightening torque: 1.5 ± 0.5 N.m (14 ± 4 in-lb)

7. Install the rear seat cushion assembly.
