GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [3.8L ENGINE (EXCEPT MIVEC)]

Pre-removal & Post-installtion Operation:

Removal Steps 1-5:

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

[[A]] A/C COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
1. With the hose installed, remove the A/C compressor assembly from the bracket.
2. After removing the A/C compressor assembly, secure it with a cord in a location where it does not interfere with generator assembly removal.

[[B]] GENERATOR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
Move the A/C compressor assembly to one side, and then remove the generator assembly from under the vehicle.
