Engine Block Heater: Testing and Inspection

CYLINDER BLOCK HEATER UNIT CHECK
1. Remove the cylinder block heater cover.





2. Disconnect cylinder block heater unit connector, and measure the resistance at cylinder block heater unit.
Standard value: 19 - 30 ohms
3. If not within the standard value, replace the cylinder block heater unit.
