Throttle Valve: Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Applies to vehicles equipped with traction control only.





THROTTLE VALVE OPERATION CHECK
1. Check that the throttle valve opens and closes smoothly (throttle lever moves) according to the opening and closing of the accelerator lever.
2. If the throttle valve does not open and close smoothly, there might be a deposit on the throttle valve, so clean the throttle body.
