Component Tests and General Diagnostics

SRS WARNING LIGHT CHECK
1. Check to be sure that the SRS warning light illuminates when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
2. Check to be sure that it illuminates for approximately 7 seconds and then switches off and remain extinguished for at least 5 seconds.
3. If the above is not the case, inspect for diagnostic trouble codes.
