Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NOTE: Manufacturer does not provide a procedure for clearing trouble codes without using a scan tool.

METHOD OF ERASING THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES
1. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector (16-pin) and erase the diagnostic trouble codes.

CAUTION: Connection and disconnection of the scan tool should always be carried out with the ignition switch in the OFF position.
