Vacuum Tank Check

NOTE: Applies to vehicles equipped with traction control only.




1. Connect a hand vacuum pump to vacuum tank A nipple, apply 67 kPa (9.7 psi) of vacuum and check that the vacuum is held.
2. Connect a hand vacuum pump to vacuum tank B nipple.
3. First, close A nipple with your finger and apply 67 kPa (9.7 psi) of vacuum. Then, check that vacuum leaks immediately when you remove the finger blocking the nipple.
