Throttle Position Switch: Testing and Inspection

CLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH CHECK
1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
2. Check the continuity between the throttle position sensor connector side terminal 3 and terminal 4.

Normal Condition:

3. If out of specification, replace the throttle position sensor.

NOTE: After replacement, the closed throttle position switch and throttle position sensor should be adjusted. (Vehicles without auto-cruise control system) (Vehicles with auto-cruise control system)
