Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR CHECK





1. Disconnect the oil temperature sensor.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 of the oil temperature sensor connector.





Standard value

NOTE: The N range indicator lamp on the combination meter flashes when the temperature reaches approximately 125°C or higher, and then stops flashing when the temperature drops below approximately 115°C.

3. Replace the sensor if not within the standard value.
