10. FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR

CAUTION: Do not drop the injector.
Remove the fuel rail with the injectors attached to it.

INSTALLATION STEPS
Installation is in the reverse order of Removal.
1. PCV HOSE CONNECTION
2. IGNITION COIL CONNECTOR
3. INJECTOR CONNECTOR
4. IGNITION FAILURE SENSOR CONNECTOR
5. MANIFOLD DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR CONNECTOR
6. HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL HOSE CONNECTION
CAUTION: Do not let the engine oil get into the fuel rail will be damaged.
1. Apply a drop of new engine oil to the O-ring.
2. Turn the injector. To the right and left to install to the fuel rail. Repeat for fuel pressure regulator and high-pressure fuel hose.
Be careful not to damage the O-ring. After installing, check that the item turns smoothly.
3. If it does not turn smoothly, the O-ring may be trapped, remove the item, re-install it into the fuel rail and check again.
4. Tighten the fuel pressure regulator and high-pressure fuel hose to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
8.8 Nm (78 in-lb)
4.9 Nm (43 in-lb)
