REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS
]A[ INJECTORS/INJECTOR CLIP INSTALLATION





1. Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the O-ring, and then insert the injector into the fuel rail.
2. Rotate the injector to verify that it moves without binding. If not, remove the injector to check the O-ring for damage, and replace the O-ring if necessary. Then, reinstall the injector and check that it moves smoothly.

]B[ FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR INSTALLATION
1. Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the O-ring, and then insert the fuel pressure regulator into the fuel rail.
2. Rotate the fuel pressure regulator to verify that it moves without binding. If not, remove the fuel pressure regulator to check the O-ring for damage, and replace the O-ring if necessary. Then reinstall the fuel pressure regulator and check that it moves smoothly.
3. Tighten the bolt to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 11 Nm (95 inch lbs.)
