With ABS

Caution: Use only the specified brake fluid. Never mix the specified brake fluid with other fluid as it will influence the braking performance significantly.

Specified brake fluid: DOT3 or DOT4

BLEEDING THE MASTER CYLINDER
If the master cylinder is empty of brake fluid, bleed the cylinder as follows.
1) Fill the reserve tank with brake fluid.
2) Depress and hold the brake pedal.





3) Let your fellow worker plug the master cylinder outlet with finger.
4) Keeping the condition (3), release the brake pedal.
5) Repeat steps 2) to 4) three to four times while filling the master cylinder with brake fluid.

BLEEDING THE BRAKE LINE




Start the engine and bleed the air in the sequence shown in the figure.

Caution: Be sure to filter/strain the brake fluid being added to the master cylinder reservoir tank. Debris may damage the HU.
