Fuel Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Connect fuel gauge unit to battery via test light (12 V - 3.4 W). Immerse it in water.
2. The condition is good if light goes off when thermistor or level switch is in water and lights when it is removed from water.
3. If all checks are correct, the fuel gauge unit is OK. If any check is not correct, replace the fuel gauge unit.

CAUTION: After completing this test, wipe the unit dry and install it in the fuel tank.
