Fuel Rail: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

NOTE: Remove the fuel rail (with the injectors attached to it.)

CAUTION: Do not drop the injector.




NOTE: When connecting the high-pressure fuel hose to the fuel rail, apply a small amount of engine oil to the hose union. Before inserting the injectors apply a small amount of engine oil to the O-rings being careful not to damage them during assembly.

CAUTION: Do not let the engine oil get into the fuel rail.
