Transmission Mount: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
Pre-removal Operation:
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
- Remove the battery and battery tray.
- Remove the front roll stopper.
- Remove the washer transmission and rear roll stopper coupling bolt.
- Remove the rear roll stopper bracket.

Follow removal steps outlined in illustration.

Removal Service Point





Transaxle Mount Bracket.
1. Fit the special tool to the vehicle and support the engine and transaxle assembly.
2. Remove the bolts and nuts from the transaxle mount bracket.
3. Slightly lower the engine and transaxle (while still supporting) and remove the transaxle mount bracket.

INSPECTION
- Check each insulator for cracks or damage.
- Check each bracket for deformations or damage.

INSTALLATION
Installation in reverse order as removal.

Installation Service Point





>A< Transaxle Mount Stopper.
Fit the transaxle mount stopper so that the arrow points in the direction shown in the diagram.

Post-installation Operation:
- Replace the rear roll stopper bracket.
- Replace the transaxle and rear rear roll stopper coupling bolt.
- Replace the front roll stopper.
- Replace the battery and battery tray.
- Replace the air cleaner assembly.
