Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
Follow removal steps outlined in illustration.

INSTALLATION
Installation in reverse order as removal.

Installation Service Points (Turbo Models)





>A< Air Intake Hose C / Air Intake Hose B / Air Intake Hose A, Turbocharger By-pass Valve And Air By-pass Hose Installation.
Engaging the notch with the mark at points indicated by the arrows, insert air intake hoses B and C until seated. Insert the turbocharger end of air intake hoses B and C completely.

INSPECTION
- Check the air cleaner body, cover or packing for Reformattion, corrosion or damage.
- Check the air duct for damage.
- Check the air cleaner element for clogging, contamination or damage.
If element is slightly clogged, remove dust by blowing air from inside of element.
