Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

WARNING: When replacing the ABS-ECU, do not let it bump against the SRS-ECU or other components.





ABS-ECU REPLACEMENT
1. Remove floor console (refer to Body and Frame).
2. Remove ABS-ECU bracket.
3. Remove ABS-ECU.
4. Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Tighten bracket bolts to 4.9 Nm (3.6 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten ABS-ECU mounting bolts to 4.9 Nm (3.6 ft. lbs.).
