Wheel Speed Sensor Assembly:

REMOVAL

Front Rotor/Sensor
Remove or disconnect the following:
1. Front splash shield
2. Clip
3. Front speed sensor
4. Drive shaft. Refer to "Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints"

Rear Rotor/Sensor
Remove or disconnect the following:
1. Rear speed sensor
2. Brake drum
3. Shoe and lining assembly
4. Rear hub assembly
5. ABS rotor

Measure Distance Between Sensor Installation Surface And ABS Rotor's Toothed Surface:

INSTALLATION
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Ensure that the wheel speed sensor output voltage is checked. Testing and Inspection
- The clearance between the speed sensor and the ABS rotor's toothed surface is not adjustable, but measure the distance between the sensor installation surface and the ABS rotor's toothed surface. The standard value is 28.2 - 28.5 mm (1.11 - 1.12 inch)
