Removal and Replacement

Hydraulic Unit Assembly:





NOTE: Drain brake fluid and remove air intake hose.

REMOVAL
1. Remove connection for brake pipe.
2. Remove harness connector.

NOTE:
- The hydraulic unit is heavy, so care should be taken when removing it.
- The hydraulic unit is not to be disassembled. The nuts and bolts must not be loosened.
- The hydraulic unit must not be dropped or otherwise subjected to impact.
- The hydraulic unit must not be turned upside down or laid on its side.

3. Remove motor relay.
4. Remove valve relay.
5. Remove hydraulic unit.
6. Remove hydraulic unit upper bracket.
7. Remove hydraulic unit lower bracket.





INSTALLATION
Reverse procedure to install, connecting the brake pipes to the hydraulic unit in the following order:
1. Front brake (LH)
2. Rear brake (RH)
3. Front brake (RH)
4. Rear brake (LH)
5. Master cylinder for left front and right rear
6. Master cylinder for right front and left rear
