Fuel Rail: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT
Refer to the illustration for the removal and installation procedure, noting the following:





1. Before installing an injector the rubber O-ring must be lubricated with a drop of clean engine oil to aid in installation.
2. Install injector top end into fuel rail.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the O-ring during installation.

3. Before installing the pressure regulator, the O-ring must be lubricated with a drop of clean engine O-ring to aid in installation.
