Cylinder Head Tightening Specifications

1. Using the cylinder head bolt wrench and a torque wrench, tighten the bolts in two or three cycles to 120-130 Nm (87-94 ft. lbs.) in the order shown in the illustration.

NOTE: Install the head bolt washers as shown with shear droop upward.

2. Back off the bolts once and tighten them to the specified torque.
