EGR Control Solenoid: Description and Operation
DESCRIPTIONThe EGR solenoid is duty control type solenoid valve, It makes control by leaking EGR valve operating negative pressure to the throttle body A pot.
OPERATION
Power supply from the battery is sent through the multiport fuel injection relay to the EGR solenoid. When the engine control module turns oft the power transistor inside the module, current no longer flows through the coil and EGR valve operating negative pressure leaks.
