Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel as outlined under Steering Wheel.
3. On models with tilt steering, set tilt position of steering shaft to lowest position.
4. Remove air bag clockspring.
5. Disconnect column switch electrical connectors, then remove cable band.
6. Remove column switch attaching screws, then the column switch from steering shaft.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
