MFI RELAY TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION

PURPOSE
Some of the MFI Relay and Fuel Pump Relay terminal numbers in the 1996 Galant Service Manual, Vol 2, are transposed in the circuit diagrams. This bulletin is issued to correct the affected pages.

1996 Galant, Vol. 2, Pages 66 and 72.
SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
MFI Relay Terminal Identification: The service manual shows the black-yellow wire from the battery connected to Terminal 4 and the black-white wire from the ignition switch connected to terminal 3. This is incorrect. Please revise the drawings as indicated below and in Figures 1 and 2. The wires should be connected as follows:
^ Black-yellow wire to Terminal # 3.
^ Black-white wire to Terminal # 4.
Fuel Pump Relay Terminal Identification: Revise the circuit diagrams by switching terminal numbers 3 and 4 as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
As reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB number in the revision box.
