Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection

Ignition Coil Check:

1. Measurement of the primary coil resistance Measure the resistance between connector terminal 11 and 12 of the distributor.

Standard value: O.9 - 1.2 Ohms

2. Measurement of secondary coil resistance Measure the resistance between the high-Voltage terminals and connector terminals 11 or 12.

Standard value: 20 - 29 K Ohms
